    Come on:rolleyes:.

Give an example of where your problem lies.

Why don't you just ask, "how do you do math?".

This is a simple inequality, and so, solve it like any other equation, that is, subtract 16 from both sides, giving

    b > -25

    If it was like this:

    9 - 3b > 0

    Then,

    -3b > -9

    BUT

    b < 3

You see, there was an inversion of the sign. This occurs when there is multiplication o division of a negative number.

Hope it helped, though a bit late...

    Do you still need help?

You just solve for be... and when you divide by a negative the sign flips... does that make sense?
