What to do for my career?
Hi I'm 15 and I'm a guy and I'm British. I started my GCSE courses and I'm in my first year of GCSE, so I still have a year to go (so it may be better for a British person to answer since the systems may be different to other nations)

I know a lot of my people have exactly the same problem where they have no idea what their future career will be. I have exactly the same, but I want to plan early so I don't end up taking unbeneficial subjects at college.

Here are my details of school at the moment, I am taking:

English, Media, Statistics, Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Biology, GCSE PE, Astronomy, Geography, French, Latin. I think that's it but I may have missed one out

I most enjoy GCSE PE because I love sport but I don't think it will be good for later career

I thoroughly enjoy physics and astronomy (chemistry and biology aren't too bad either)

I'm interested in maths as well

All other subjects are OK, but not something I would like to take on in later life (except I hate Latin)

At college I have more or less confirmed I would like to do maths and physics at A level because they are both versatile subjects which I'm interested in, and since half of physics is maths, they go well together.

I was wondering if it's too late to have a look in IT and electronics, I've grown a sudden interest in them recently but I never thought of taking them a GCSE. I fear it may be too late to look at these subjects, but physics, maths, electronics and IT would be perfect for me at A level apart from the fact I'm pretty clueless about IT and electronics

So any answers on what I should look for doing in the fututre would be most aprreciated

Honestly don't bother with A-level Electronics, GCSE would be more than enough.
You can do side GCSE's while doing the main A-levels.
I picked up a few like that, while doing 4 A-levels.
The extra GCSE's I did in a year.

The real question is, when it comes to choosing your A-levels is what are you aiming for.
Further eduction, as in Uni, or a job?
