    profiling at its worst!
First homeland security profiling anybody that is for conservative values as terrorists.
NOW Garofalo: Tea Party Goers Are Racists Who Hate Black President | NewsBusters.org
Inthebox and speech touched on this in the Homeland post.

Thank you. You know, there's nothing more interesting than seeing a bunch of racists become confused and angry at a speech they're not quite certain what he's saying. It sounds right and then it doesn't make sense. Which, let's be very honest about what this is about. It's not about bashing Democrats, it's not about taxes, they have no idea what the Boston tea party was about, they don't know their history at all. This is about hating a black man in the White House. This is racism straight up. That is nothing but a bunch of teabagging rednecks. And there is no way around that. And you know, you can tell these type of right wingers anything and they'll believe it, except the truth. You tell them the truth and they become -- it's like showing Frankenstein's monster fire. They become confused, and angry and highly volatile. That guy, causing them feelings they don't know, because their limbic brain, we've discussed this before, the limbic brain inside a right-winger or Republican or conservative or your average white power activist, the limbic brain is much larger in their head space than in a reasonable person, and it's pushing against the frontal lobe. So their synapses are misfiring. Is Bernie Goldberg listening?

Garofalo actually called Party-goers "a bunch of teabagging rednecks," adding "this is about hating a black man in the White House. This is racism straight up."

I thought the liberal party was all for the gays and here Garofalo is prejucisly using teabagging to insult the conservatives.
Furthermore, besides the fact that they do not 'get' the purpose of the tea parties,
I don't know one single conservative that would not have voted for a 'black' person
    that fit the conservative values.

The thing that really gets me in reading this and the Homeland security thing is
these very people who screamed that it is politically incorrect to profile and stereo type and use the words black, terrorist and derogatorily using gays terms, as well as now profiling conservatives. They seem to have no problem with it now.

Gee the very things she says about the right I always thought best described Pelosi, Boxer, Reid, Waxman, Larry Summers.

What is the left up to with its double standards that they seemingly don't 'get'?

No Sapphire, the left doesn't get it. Dissent is no longer patriotic, diversity is anything but diverse, and Garafalo is the poster girl for tolerance. It goes beyond here as well:

The Jibbering Teasickness of American Conservatives

Apart from a possible invasion by a half-dozen lightly armed Pillsbury Doughboys, there would seem to few forces less menacing, or less worthy of being taken seriously, than odd meandering herds of brain-damaged, tub-gutted, SUV-driving suburban garbage flailing tea bags around and ranting about a new American revolution at the behest of their distinctly Doughboyish Fox News Pied Piper Glenn Beck. We’re talking here, after all, about the lowest of the low – people who not only tune in their televisions to watch a whining, weeping, paranoiac globule of jibbering cowardice night after night, but actually swallow his political prognostications to a sufficient degree that they buy boxes of Lipton Flo-Thru tea bags and dart straight on down to city hall.

In a more sane and civilized time, showing up at a government building and flinging tea bags around while babbling incoherently about incipient socialism oozing from the Oval Office would have been sufficient grounds for involuntary commitment and, hopefully, frontal lobotomy.
Ironically enough, after belligerently berating his fellow Americans he followed that with this: "Sadly, as in so many other areas, America’s standards of reasonable public discourse have slipped.

Somehow the irony escapes him still I'm sure. Following this brilliant piece was this:

Tea Parties: For Republicans Who Simply Can’t Accept Rejection

Like any good protest, last week’s complaints came in a variety of shapes and sizes and were expressed at varying levels of volume. At the center of it all, at the Tax Day protests, was the heart of not a political movement as had been advertised, but a political party.

Organizers of the Tea Bag protests were quick to point out that the protests themselves were spontaneous, non-partisan demonstrations of taxpayer anger over what they called excessive taxation and reckless government spending. Like all shots taken quickly, they missed, although that was almost certainly intentional. The protesters were almost universally Republicans and conservative.

It is a movement that simply refuses to accept the consequences of defeat.
When was the last time you heard someone on the left complain about Bush having stolen the 2000 election? Last year you say?

And the liberals don't understand why the military votes don't go to the Democrats?

    ----------------------------------------------------

Another point is that with the percentage of actual taxpayors declining, the MSM and libs don't understand why the taxpayors are upset about the prospect of them and future generations of taxpayors paying more taxes to bailout failing businesses, ceo bonuses, and unproven beneficial effects for the county's economy.

    ---------------------------------------------
I'll give you other examples of why more tea parties are necessary.

1] If you want to refinance to a lower rate you may qualify only if:
    - you have an FHA loan
    - your mortgage is greater than 31% of your gross monthly income
    - you have been in default on some payments

Now, if you were prudent and your mortgage is say 25% of gross monthly income, and or you did not get an FHA loan because you put > 5% money down on your house, and or if you have kept up with your mortgage payments , you don't qualify?

So we > 90% who don't qualify, who are not responsible for the bursting of the housing bubble, end up bailing out those less prudent.

2] Also why do only first time homebuyers get an $8000 credit toward the purchase of a new home?

Who is more qualified to buy a home than a current home owner that has kept up with the obligations of homeownership?

These special offers to few percent of the population is at the expense of the majority?

Make no mistake about it. Conservatives are going to have to fight if we keep our country free. Already, there are efforts to silence free speech by equating some beliefs with hate crimes. That would create "thought police", as Japan had during WW2.

    The left has gone mad.

    Hello again, Saph:

Would anybody be interested if I posted a thread about how insane Michael Savage is?? Nahhh. Nobody would be interested in that. A right wing nut job isn't news, but a left wing nut job is.

Hmmm. That can only mean the left is less nuts than the right.

Mike Savage can get off the wall and he really doesn't like the conservative party either.
He was the first to criticize Bush on at least three things and he even actually STOPPED some of the things Bush tried to do.

Ex, one difference here, I don't mind saying Savage is a moron. I'm still waiting for a liberal - any liberal - to do the same for even one of their morons. Garafalo, Olbermann, Maher, Moore, Matthews, Maddow, most of Hollywood. Anyone?

You forgot the king of their morons... Ron Kuby .

Ron Kuby - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The guy does not flame like the rest of them but he is a winner nonetheless. He is famous for the 'black rage 'defense when a gunman shot up a Long Island Railroad train.

His latest stunt is to consider creating a legal defense team for the pirate that wasn't killed in the rescue of Alabama captain Richard Phillips . This further illustrates the folly of treating terrorism and piracy as a criminal justice issue instead of war.

Garafalo: I can't understand why ANYONE gives 2 F*&Ks what she has to say.

Olbermann: The guy who started on Sportscenter PLEASE. He is not a real news person.

Mahr: he is funny sometimes but most of the time he is to whiny.
(loved his entire FREE LEVI bit He knew that "engagement" was BS)

    Moore: I like him.

Matthews: The only time I watched him is when my wife was watching Ellen and he grabbed Ellen's boob on "accident"

And the rest of Hollywood I don't give 2 sh*ts about what they think. They should sit there and look pretty that is what they are paid to do.

    Hello Steve:

Garafalo is a moron. So's Maher, Matthews, and even Sean Penn. But, I like Keith and Rachael - a LOT.

Don't tell anyone, but sometimes I even like O'Reilly and Beck.

    Does this help?

Well you're not really a liberal. I don't think Spit is that much of a liberal either, but I appreciate the effort. I'll keep it quiet on O'Reilly and Beck.

I like O'Reilly too. Shhh it's a secret. The past year I have been wondering how much of a liberal I actually am. I'm definitely not a yellowdog because I have voted for republicans. If McCain would have won the primary in 2000 he had my vote.

Are Garofalo, and several others who think like she does representative of the left in general?

When they lose, they are mean spirited whiners.

When they win, they are mean spirited, arrogant, and vindictive.

It amazes me how stupid many hollywood liberals are. Are there any conservatives left in Hollywood? I can think of Arnold Schwartzenegger, Tom Selleck, Ted Nugent, Chuck Norris. There must be some others.
