    Children's animated movie targeted for girls -from 80s or 90s
    Ok so I don't think the movie was released in theatres as I always rented it from the corner video store on VHS. As noted before it's animated. It's about a girl who was adopted (I think) and was kind of treated like a cinderella character. Something happens and she gets thrown out of the house by some older woman and it's the middle of winter. I think she was send out to get a specific flower that would not be found in the dead of winter... but she goes into the forest and as she walks deeper and deeper she comes across this meadow and it's spring/summer time. There are a bunch of wizard like old men, I think 12 for each month of the year. Then she leaves the meadow and goes out and it's dead of winter again. Then there's this bratty princess or queen who's wearing a fur coat and riding in a sleigh. The main girl ends up at this palace (this has a very russian feel to it). Then my memory gets extra fuzzy. Something happens with gold coins and the main girl losing it or giving it to help someone out and I think the main girl was tutoring the spoiled brat princess. The step mother and sisters come into the picture here I think and are given the impossible to get flowers.
    And now I think I'm mixing some things up. I just know that the movie kind of reminds me of being a cross between Cinderella, Snow White, and Anastasia. But if anyone could help out and knows the name of the movie that'd be awesome!
