OK so this is complicated! I was in a "relationship" for a total of 5 months if you count the months in which my partner disappeared for an unknown reason, at least to but if you don't it was only really a month. We started dating July of 2008 and "broke up" October but it was never official. January was the last time we spoke and it did not end well I was too mad to allow myself to speak to him. Last Thursday (April 9,2009) he texted me and said he knew we lost touch and he was wondering if I wanted to grab a bite to eat in the weekend and that if I knew his birthday had just passed. I answered back saying yes I know we lost touch somehow and hope you had fun in you birthday. Happy belated. And I tried to ignore the fact he asked me out to eat but he texted me back saying lunch? dinner? maybe yes no? So I said yes but not this weekend.take a raincheck? He answered of course and I didn't answer back to that. I haven't heard from him since and I do not know what I should do? I've asked my friends and some say go out and see what he has to say and others say no don't he doesn't deserve that. So I'm confused beyond believe I want to go but I don't know if I can act like everything is OK and I do not know what his intentions are? I definitely need feedback on this.:confused:
