You can pop them on the but or nose when they go inside. And when they go outside you should praise them and give them a treat. This makes them think that will be praised after doing something good.

Hope this helps~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~please answer my question too.:o

Housebreaking dogs is not an easy job. It takes time and a lot of patience. How old are your dogs? How long have they been pottying inside? It will be harder to housebreak them if it is a long established habit. One of the first things you are going to want to do is get a good pet stain remover and clean well anywhere whee they have used the bathroom. Each spot is a flagged scent toilet spot to them, even if you don't smell it yourself. A crate would be helpful in house training them. You are going to want to take them outside very, very frequently, especially after meals and naps. When they go outside give them a treat and make a big fuss, if they have an accident say "NO" and clean it up. By NO means should you hit your dogs. This will only make them scared of you. They will be more likely to try to hide from you to potty which can make clean ups and getting rid of flagged spots a lot harder. Your dog may even become aggressive or submissive and urinate on themselves every time you come near them. Also NEVER EVER rub your dogs noses in their accidents. This is not training, its animal cruelty. Period. Positive reinforcement will get you a lot farther then abuse.
