The bigger picture is this, Palin isn't the one representing us in world affairs.
You know me better than that, I don't think any politician walks on water. You know I don't trust any of them, and I darn sure don't trust a LIBERAL politician.
At least I could still recognize my country when he walked away.
Steve the only thing that's empty is Palin's head. Her gaffes are overblown but Obama and Clinton's aren't? Do you really think that the media is that against you? Of course Rush and Fox never blow anything out of proportion do they?
Sure, Palin doesn't represent you on the world stage, but if you guys got your way she would. She may have even end up running the entire show. And then you'd truly have something to be embarrassed about. Then you'd truly be the laughing stock of the entire world.
So your saying in three months since Bush you now can't recognise your country? Talk about blowing things out of proportion.

Skell, do you honestly think Rush and Fox outweigh the majority mainstream media? So you have two players that are tops in their field... they're both still a very small percentage of the media coverage. I've posted the stats many times here... the numbers don't lie.
Evening News Ratings: Week of March 23
Total Viewers: NBC: 9,210,000 / ABC: 8,100,000 / CBS: 6,120,000
That's 23, 430,000 for just the 3 networks for a week... all with a liberal slant. 131.5 million people watch CNN and MSNBC per month compared to 61.3 million for FNC. Add the roughly 93.7 million that watch the networks and you have FNC reaching 61.3 million in a month vs. everyone else reaching 224.5 million viewers. And we haven't even mentioned newspapers and magazines, and radio numbers for Rush can't even come close to bridging the gap.
Yeah, Rush and Fox blow some things out of proportion, but they don't stand a chance against the massive media machine on the other side and calculated attacks by the administration with the aide of their media enablers. Come on Skell, you're a smart guy... the media Goliaths have a much bigger hammer.

Don't fall in the same trap as excon and others, none of us "oldtimer" conservatives here have ever shown that kind of fealty to Palin. It's the facts that matter, and given the choice between what we have now and McCain/Palin it's a no-brainer. That doesn't mean we worship them or think they're the best choice... but it's a hell of a lot better than the alternative.
So your saying in three months since Bush you now can't recognise your country? Talk about blowing things out of proportion.
Um, I didn't say now, I said "At least I could still recognize my country when he walked away." Will I be able to when Obama is through with it? At this rate, no.

... and the comics complained he wasn't funny . This administrations should keep SNL stocked with fresh material for it's full 4 years.
When the reporters dialed up the 1st number ,and then the revised number ,I just got to wonder which one they thought was more informative?? Both #s were spouting BS ,but one was more entertaining .

Hello again, righty's:
I remember when the ET Wolverine told me to pay attention to what Bush DOES, not what he says.
So, that's a no go these days, huh? I figured.

I watched what Obama did, he bowed like an inferior to the Saudi king instead of looking him the eye as an American president should. And it's obvious we've been watching he does and not he says in every other area because his promises have short expiration dates. Just words...

Bowing in fact is a breach of protocol. American Presidents don't bow before kings.
Considering the almost causal air they presented to the Queen of England ,I just have to ask... has anyone ever seen the President show such deference before ?

No... let's pay close attention to what he does.
He passed a $780B stimulus bill that he didn't read and didn't give anyone else time to read.
He passed an Omnibus Bill full of pork.
He has appointed, not one, not two, but at least five tax cheats to top positions in his administration, after promissing that this administration would be the most open, honest and transparent administration in history.
He has appointed tens of lobbyists to positions in his administration, after promissing that his administration would have no lobbyists.
He has insulted both the UK PM and the Queen with his crappy, lazy, bone-headed "gifts" of I-Pods and DVDs. The DVDs were even in the wrong format.
He bowed down to the King of Saudi Arabia... the President isn't supposed to bow down to anyone.
He has quadrupled the national deficit.
His policies have DOUBLED the national debt over the next 10 years.
He's taken over a major private corporation, fired its president, and has stated that he intends to install his own board of directors, and announced that the US government now backs the service agreements of that company. This after stating that the US Government has no desire or intention of running that company.
He has spent more time on TV than he has actually doing his job, and has spent that time on TV laughing about the economic crisis we're in middle of, and insulting the developmentally challenged.
I'm watching exactly what Obama has done and is doing. THAT is what I'm criticizing.

Now he's invented a new language, Austrian.
It was also interesting to see that political interaction in Europe is not that different from the United States Senate. There’s a lot of — I don’t know what the term is in Austrian — wheeling and dealing — and, you know, people are pursuing their interests, and everybody has their own particular issues and their own particular politics.
Uh, even I knew Austrians mainly speak German.

Evita's "concession
[ 6 Answers ]
Words matter or just words ?
I think the key will be the words she uses in her concession speech. If she "Endorses" Obama then assume her campaign is over . If she says she "Supports" Obama then she is in truth keeping her campaign viable. Suspending a campaign is not dropping out. Ron Paul...
