For the purpose of computing the deductin for a qualified residience interest. Could my principal residence and one other residence owned by me or by my wife, be considered as a qualified residence or not?
Correction for 1099 Qualified dividends

I received a correction for my 1099 from my broker. The correction was only in one field "qualified dividends", it's increased by only one dollar ($1) . I already made my taxes, Do I need re-do it to correct it with $1 increase in the 1099 "qualified dividends" ? Please advise. Thanks
Non qualified distribution of retirement account

I live in Georgia and might need to take an early withdrawal on my retirement account. Am I correct when I figure that it will be 32% since I will pay a mandatory 20% federal income tax withholding plus 10% early withdrawal fee plus 2% Georgia state tax withholding? Can this be right?! Thanks,...
Qualified student loans

Hi I am filling the resident 1040 form and I see a line for student loan interest deduction. Does credit card loans count? I took out some credit card loans while I was on F-1 visa but I paid a lot of interest on those loans last year. Can I take this deduction? Thanks in advance View more questions Search
