Hi,

I was on US from Aug2007 till April 2008 on Visa Type L1. My wife and kid were in L2 visa.
My wife is a house wife in US .

Now we are back in India, for filling my 2008 return I have following query:
1. Being in India can I use Turbo tax for filling my tax.
2. SHould I file Married and applying Jointly for that do I need ITIN for my spouse.
3. Can I declare my Kid as dependent.
4. In Turbo tax how can I attach my foreign tax credit document for tax deductions.

No, you must file as a non-resident alien for both 2007 and 2008.

This means you CANNOT file jointly with your wife, nor can you claim your child as a dependent.
