    Query on Recovery rebate
    Hi,

I am on a L1 visa and have come to the USA on 6th of December 2008. I need to file my taxes for the period - 6th Dec - 31st Dec 2008.

I was not in the United states in 2007. Am I eligible for the recovery rebate?

    Please let me know,

    Thanks,

If you have not already filed, you will file as a non-resident alien, filing Form 1040NR or 1040NR-EZ.

You are NOT eligible for the Recovery Rebate Credit.
