    What to do about somebody who slander lie about a person
    I have a neighbor who keeps call the law to my house for stupid things and keep talking about my family and telling lie to the cops and now she called the law because their where walking and they waved at her and she said she was being harassing.

    You ignore them. Suing for slander or harassment can be iffy and expensive.

    But the police should have a record of all the false reports. So ask them to charge her with filing a false report.

    You can go talk to the DA and see if you can get them to file charges for the false police reports.
    ** assuming they are false

    You can go and see about a restraining order to require them keep away from you.
