Could it disqualify me from getting an aprt. When I've been charged NOT convicted?
Me and my boyfriend are trying to get in apartment of our own, but unfortunately they do backround check. My concern is that his record is clean but mine however is not. Now I'm just wondering if it could disqualify us because I've been charged and they ended up doing a diversion, and my record will be clean in November of this year but however I was never convicted... The lady never mention to us what exactly they are looking for in the backround check, but my question is could this keep us from getting the apartment.?

Yes, it could disqualify you. Your record will be "clean" in November but that's 8 months from now.

Right now you have a record.
