    Water hasn't come back
I installed a new kitchen sink and had the water turned off at the main. Now I'm ready to turn the water on again. I've been waiting almost a half an hour to an hour for the water to come back on and it hasn't. I have heard the air in all the faucets and still have no water. Help?

Are you sure you turned on the water the whole way. (had to ask)

The valve you turned on is it a gate valve ( the round Handel you turn a couple of times to shut off. Or was it a ball valve. One lever Handel and turn it perpendicular to the pipe to shut off and line it up straight to the pipe to be on?

Only a couple of things could be bad here/
    1. gate valve stem is bad and its stuck shut.
    2. forgot another valve that is shut off
    3. ball valve is not turned in the right position
    4. A serious leak somewhere.
    5. forgot to turn on well breaker/switch if one is there

So where was the valve you turned off/on?

    What did it look like.
Are you on a well and you forgot to turn the well pump on?

Are you on a well and shut off pump and the check valve on the pump lost prime?

Is the well pump shutting on and off quickly?

    Get back
