    Continue to breastfeed, and introduce tastes of whatever you eat, but in a form that has no added salt or sugar and is easy to eat without choking.

    Baby-led weaning is where you make food available to your baby and allow her to eat it herself. A piece of banana or steamed carrot that she can hold in her fist and gum away at is a good start. Oddly, there are fewer cases of babies choking when they feed themselves than when you spoonfeed them.
