Infinite switch for GE Electric Stove
I have a GE Electric stove which uses the following switches :wb23k5055 wb23k5056.

I cannot find these anywhere, I had one offered for about $90 !

What replacement switches can I use ?

These are for the Electric heating elements of the stove.

    Thanks in anticipation.

These infinite switches are rather expensive. I think the parts cost for the GE range is rather high. Does it make sense to replace the whole unit with a stand-alone stove with an oven ? The stand-alone range is only about $80 mor ethan the cost of the 4 switches.

Other than the size of the unit, what else do I need to look out for ?

Hi there again... can I get away with installing 8/3 and a 40 amp breaker for a new stove? Looks like I messed up at home depot, or maybe they did, and bought 8/3 rather than 6/3, and you know how expensive that is... I'm going to try to return it and blame them, but this was like 3 months ago...
