E-3 Visa - Multiple Jobs Allowed?
I am an Australian citizen currently working in the US under an E3 visa. I have been with my current employer since May 2006. I have a couple of questions regarding my particular visa that I was hoping someone may be able to shed some light on:

    1. Are you able to have more than one employer on an E3 visa? And if so, what is the process for this? FYI - the second position would be part-time (20 hrs/week).

    2. What is the process for swapping employers under an E3 visa? My current visa expires in May 2008.

Any assistance or advice that anyone could provide me with would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

The are allowed if you have multiple approved LCAs for each job but then it is up to the Consulate issuing the visa to ultimately approve anything.

The E-3 is an employer-specific visa, so you need the second or subsequent employer to file a petition for you. Please note that your E-3 visa is not as important as the I-94 annotated E-3. you file the new employer petition with the USCIS service center with jurisdiction over the case (not geographically) on form I-129 with an E supplement. Find an experienced employment immigration attorney as your new employment must till be as a professional.

I hope this was helpful, good luck.

And remember, E-3 spouses are eligible for employment authorization, file the I-765 for an EAD, takes about 90 days.
