Got a ticket for leaving child unattened in car
I live in Dallas,tx.. I got a ticket for leaving my child unattented in the car for few minutes.this was my first time,I never recied any ticket so far. I paid the fine and its over. The CPS also investigated and found no evidence and said the child neglect was not occurred and closed the case.I also received a letter saying that the case will be ruled out and the name of the reporter will be removed.what does that mean? Will my name be still on the record when they do background checks? I am going to apply for a teacher job.please let me know ? If so is there any way to fix it or erase it from the record?would appreaciate your help.

You paid a fine which basically admits the charge so, yes, it's on your record. What was the exact charge?

This was probably a misdemeanor charge. I don't think this would hinder your ability to become a teacher. But your use of "lemme" and other poor English might.

No, that's the fine - what was the charge? Child endangerment, something along those lines?
