    Bonding for small business
    I am in the process of starting a home based residential cleaning service do I need to be bonded and if so how do I go about getting it done also is there a special insurance that I need to operate this type of business

    Hi, Bobbie Mac!

    You don't normally need to be bonded to do residential cleaning unless someone is requiring you to be bonded. Most full-service insurance agencies can get you bonded if you want to be bonded. You'll need at least liability insurance to operate this kind of business.

    Have you had much experience cleaning for others in order to make a profit for yourself, please?
