AM I PREGNANT? Anyone reply to this.
I have had unprotected sex with my boyfriend.
On the expected day of my period I got a period as usual but it was different. It was heavy the first day then brown and light the second day and then nothing.
My periods usually last 5-6 days but this was 1-2 days .
Its two days later now and I have started to bleed a browny coloured blood which is also quite sticky and thick.
Could this mean I am pregnant?
Any suggestions?

Possibly... how soon before your period was due did you have the unprotected sex? Your period may just be off as well. You could try a pregnancy test in the next several days or wait until next month and see what happens with your period at that time.

How early can you take a hpt ?
How early can you take a home pregnancy test
As I have had a 'period' but it lasted only 2 days and was heavy then light.
Now 2 days later I have browny mucusy discharge/blood.

Pregnancy tests look for a special hormone in the urine or blood that is only there when a woman is pregnant. This hormone, human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), can also be called the pregnancy hormone.
The pregnancy hormone, hCG, is made in your body when a fertilized egg implants in the uterus. This usually happens about 6 days after conception. But studies show that the embryo doesn't implant until later in some women. The amount of hCG increases drastically with each passing day you are pregnant.
Many home pregnancy tests claim they can tell if you're pregnant on the day you expect your period. But a recent study shows that most don't give accurate results this early in pregnancy. Waiting one week after a missed period will usually give a more accurate answer.

If you're in the US, I suggest picking up some tests from your local dollar store. They're highly sensitive to low levels of HCG. I actually got a positive with one of them at 9 days post ovulation, five days before my anticipated period. That's kind of the exception to the rule though.
It all depends on the pregnancy, sometimes you build up HCG very quickly. Other pregnancies are sluggish with establishing high levels of HCG. So there are a lot of variables. There also seem to be some women who have trouble getting accurate pregnancy tests.
Typically you're advised to wait until you have missed a period to take the home pregnancy test because you should have established a reasonable amount of HCG by that point. I also suggest taking the hpt with your first morning urine because the concentration of hormones is highest then.

Yes, for some women having unusal bleeding about the time their period would normally arrive can sometimes be due to pregnancy. Best to take a pregnancy test so you can know one way or the other for sure.

In response to your spotting question,I have taken an excerpt from Pregnancy.com it reads as follows:
Pregnancy spotting or bleeding during very early pregnancy is quite normal, and may not indicate anything to be worried about at all. As early as 7 to 9 days into your pregnancy, you may observe some vaginal spotting, which is due to the process of embryo implantation onto your uterine walls. Such spotting and bleeding is very minor. If you observe any spotting or bleeding that cause you alarm, consult with your doctor immediately.
It may be possible that pregnancy spotting is no cause for alarm, but, alternately, it could be a sign of some problem that could turn out to be serious. You will probably need to undergo an examination to ensure that both, you and your baby are fine, and there are no complications expected. If for some reason, on observing heavy bleeding, you are unable to get in touch with your doctor, do not waste time - get to some emergency clinic, and fast.
Things To Know
Some times, it is not possible to determine what caused that prenatal pregnancy spotting or bleeding. Spotting is normally a very light form of bleeding, something like what you may have observed at the beginning or the end of your normal menstruation. It is possible to spot some blood as the blood supply to your cervix and pelvis has increased. Of course, the spotting varies in color, from pink to red to brown - similar to that of dried blood.

I just wanted to reinforce that bleeding during pregnancy is not to be ignored. Anytime there is blood after a confirmed pregancy, a call needs to be placed to your doctor. Some women do bleed occasionally during pregnancy, particularly around the time that their period would have been due. But anytime there is bleeding during pregnancy, the very least that needs to happen is a call to the doctor.

It could be or it could be dried up blood. If you took a hpt and had a blood test done and they both came back negative I would wait another week before taking another hpt and remember use your first morning urine.
Also, take a test with a low hcg level like first response or Ept. The dollar test from the dollar store worked fine for me just check the expiration date to make sure it isn't expired.
Good Luck!

If you read the sticky's attached to the forum you'll see we CANNOT diagnose you. "maybe" is as good as its going to get.
A skipped period, altered period, change in discharge, etc... are not how ANY doctor would decide if you are pregnant.
Some women can experience a change in bleeding with early pregnancy.
Doulalc already mentioned this.

And, remember, a negative HPT doesn't mean you aren't pregnant.
It means it failed to detect high enough levels of hormone... a woman can be pregnant and get "false" negatives. A positive is usually reliable if the testing procedure is strictly followed.

I know you are nervous and want an answer.
But my suggestion is that you 1) listen to the advice offered and 2) stop opening the same question over and over.
You had unprotected sex. The result of that is with an unusual period you must test and perhaps wait... and test again.
No doctor would ever read what you've said and say "yes, you are" or "no, you are not"...
Pregnancy tests are done for a reason.
You might not like it, but a negative will mean you need to wait and try again. Take the test first thing in the morning, when hormones are most concentrated (if present).
Nobody is going to be able to tell you with any reliable level of confidence "yes" or "no"... that's up to time and testing.
