Statute of limitations for theft in Florida
I have discovered that a bank vice president stole money out of one of my business accounts. How long do I have from discovery of the incident to file charges?

At some point the Police refuse to take any complaint seriously - why would you wait to report this?

I don't know at what point the Police refuse to file charges.

If you have physical proof of this theft of monies go directly to the DA's office and speak with them.
