    Statutory Rape x (t)=GuiLty when t=time
    Ok I'm a 16 year old and my parents and a friend of mine parents are filling charges for statutory rape. Mines being on a lower level than my friends. What is the length of time after the incident that I can file charges...

    Well im filling charges because when i was 13 this 24 year old was basically feeling on me and to my knowledege the definition of statutory rape is sexual relations with a person who has not reached the statutory age of consent and touching is still sexual relations.

    I know what that is I'm trying to find out like how long after the incident happen can I charge them... like it happened like two of three years ago... can I still charge them if I have enough evidence and witnesses

    You'd have to attempt to file with the Police and see if they'll accept your report. Sometimes they do; sometimes they don't.

    I misread this to read that the charge against this person was at a lower level than the friend.
