    Purging hot water baseboard
I closed the return line and opened the purging valve. It drained water and air out but then stopped draining water. I have the thermostat down so water isn't circulating. Shouldn't I be getting a continuous flow of water?

Sounds like either your purge valve is blocked, or your water inlet is closed. The automatic air-outs are intended to work continuously while the circulator is running. Check your pressure.
