Back of toilet will not fill after flushed
I have an older 1984 toilet that will not fill after I flushed. There is no water coming in from the little rubber hose that extends into the back basin near the ball on the stick. The flappr seems to be fine, however, the inside lever connected to the outside flush lever did break. I have been pulling on that chain connected to the lever attached to the plastic arm to flush. Did I dislodge something in the back? Is the water level the problem? Tried filling t full and of course it flushed but did not fill up.. no water came in?
    Thanks, RT

First thing, replace the flush lever,(see image) The nut will be a left hand thread and The linkage between the flapper and the flush lever should have 1/4" play. Now tell me what ballcock you have,(see images). Back to you. Tom
