    Forced hot water heater
    Hi I have a forced hot water heater run by oil it supplies heat and hot water to my home. There is a water leak coming from the release valve can anyone help me thanks lauren

    A water leak from the pressure release valve usually indicates one of three things.

    The release/safety pressure valve is defective

    OR

    The expansion tank is full of water or in the case of a bladder type tank the tank is defective

    OR

    The water pressure/water fill feed regulator is improperly adjusted or defective.

    And it can be a combination of them.

Blows 3 amp fuse. After fuse blows fan comes on. Ignitor works prior to fuse blowing but no gas. One resistor on board appears to have black mark.
