    Where can I report that?
I live and work in Ontario in my mother's store. The store is in a building with several other businesses. I had to call maintenance regarding a problem and the employee, who answered the phone was very disrespectful and rude, and yelled at me, that he is off. Since I called the official work number I couldn't know. It was not the first time that he reacted this way.

A few days later I met him in the hallway and asked him not to talk to me like that again. I am a tiny person, but know how to behave and can articulate myself respectfully even when I complain. His reaction was like an explosion. He started yelling at me and moving towards me, clinching his hand to a fist. He was right in my face, and I do not know what would have happened,if we would have been alone in the hallway. I responded by telling him he should just do his job and not threatening other people, trying not to show how frightened I was.
My mother and I contacted his employer immediately. I did not return to work next day, I was not able to face him again. Upon request of the company he works for I filed an official complain, stating the incident. So far we agreed to handle the matter with discreation. A few days later I realized that almost every business in that building knew what had happened and how he stated his point of view.
As of today, we have not heard a word from the company, even we tried to call the responsible person again. I have quit my job, feeling bad for my mother, but she understands and supports my decision. I do not want to face that person any longer, and furthermore, I don't want that happened again to anybody. My mother will close that location. I would like to know, what are our options. Is there an official institution or department we can report the whole situation to?

You can not always run from your problems, if he was threatening, you file a police report against him for th threats.

But his company is where you go, have you talked to the owner of that company ? Filed in writing ?

So you let him win by quiting, he has his job, you don't

Thanks for your response. Yes, I did everything in writing with the owner of the company he works for. I do have a new job, but yeah I know what you mean by saying "not running away".
