Why does it take so long for some women to conceive? Me and my b/f have been having unprotected sex for nearly 2 years and all we've had is a m/c.

Keep trying, you can go to your gp for family planning then they give you this calendar which shows what days would be ebst for trying to conceive on

Also try and have sex relaxed and romantically, not just trying for a baby, you will be less stressed so will be mor elikely to conceive

Have you already determined when you are most likely ovulating? Has it been two years of actively trying to get pregnant? If so, you may want to speak to your doctor about having some initial testing done to try and rule out an fertility concerns.
For some couples it may be simply a few changes that does the trick, for others medical assistance becomes necessary.
There are many possible reasons a pregnancy does not happen easily... some to do with the woman, some to do with the male, at times a combination of both, and sometimes it is just a matter of having everything that needs to occur happen at the correct time.

Thanks for your answers well take It all into consideration, we've been trying properly for about 6months. but have never used anything to prevent It from happening through the year and a half before we started trying.Once again thanks for all your answers they were much appreciated.

Ok, forgive the intrusion, especially if my instincts are wrong on this.

Are you 17, turning 18 this year? If so, your body (not even taking into consideration your maturity level and financial stability) might not be ready for a pregnancy. At that age you are still finishing your own development and a pregnancy can be dangerous for your health and that of your unborn child. It might be wise to wait a few years to give your body (and mind) time to mature.
