Harbor Breeze w/remote will not turn off
I have 3 Harbor Breeze fan lights with remote controls all purchased in 2008 from August on - the oldest one decided to start running at full fan speed and would not shut off last night - had to cut wire to get it to shut off (it is wired so it is hot all the time - use remote to turn on & off). Remote works fine with other 2 fans, none of the remotes work with this fan. I assume something has gone wrong with receiver, purchased at Lowe's - is there a warranty on this fan?

Yes. It might have a lifetime warranty, you can try taking it back. Otherwise try a new receiver.

BTW you changed the dip switches on the other two remotes when you tried them, right?
