Hi, I'm going to school on cosmotology.. its going to be my career but I recently dyed a friends hair from dark brown to blonde and some turned out red and I don't know what to do and I'm off school for a few weeeks so I can't ask my instructior.. someone please help!

Not really sure what to do here. Just offering a friendly suggestion. If you repost this under "Health & Wellness > Beauty and Skin Care", I think you will get a lot more, and much more quick, responses. Hope someone answers your question soon.

Congratulations on going to Cosmetology school. In order to go from brown to blonde, hair must be bleached to a yellow stage, then a toner is applied to achieve a blonde shade. Keep in mind that ash colors get rid of unwanted red tones. Try using a blonde color with ash base in it to neutralize the red.
