Hi, I'm going to school on cosmotology.. its going to be my career but I recently dyed a friends hair from dark brown to blonde and some turned out red and I don't know what to do and I'm off school for a few weeeks so I can't ask my instructior.. someone please help!

Congratulations on going to Cosmetology school. In order to go from brown to blonde, hair must be bleached to a yellow stage, then a toner is applied to achieve a blonde shade. Keep in mind that ash colors get rid of unwanted red tones. Try using a blonde color with ash base in it to neutralize the red.
