Online Pizza
Has anyone ever ordered Pizza online from Dominos or one of the other national chains?
We ordered from Dominos a couple of weeks ago and were very impressed by the process. What was most impressive was their Pizza Tracker. This showed the progress of the order every step of the way. From receipt of the order, to prep, placing in the oven, boxing and out for delivery. I think Dominos should be commended for using the Internet to the nth degree.
I was also curious if any of the other chains (Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, Little Ceaser, etc.) had similar features on their sites.

Having just ordered pizza from Pizza Hut last night, I can say that I didn't see the "pizza tracker" on the site.
They just give you an estimated time.
I think Papa John's does it that way too. :)
One thing I do like about Pizza Hut is the saved orders. You can do a 'one-click' order type thing and cut the time in half.
Yeah... I order pizza a lot... ;)

We have used Dominos online a few times.
We don't have an order track though, but it does remember your previous ones for repeats.
Works well, just a shame there aren't more voucher codes around ;)

My daughter did the ordering, so I didn't see all the features of Dominos site. They may have the ability to one click orders.
If you haven't expereinced their site and you have a yen for pizza, I'd recommend giving it a try.

Maybe the UK site is different. Or the feature is very new.

Im in the Va Region/Pizza Hut. We were just acquired by NPC Inc. and transitioned to their new system just 3 weeks ago. Now, we do have the tracker and it is great when a customer comes in and I can look at the screen and say okay, it is on the cut table right now (with out looling at the cut table). However, there are several other problems and gliches that we need to work on.:p

But is this tracker available online to people who have placed a delivery order?

I've ordered from pizza hut online twice now (once being last night). I'm liking it. No status updates, but it tells you about when the pizza will be ready, and like HC said, you can save all your orders and just do a one click thing.
