    Tappan model 30-2242 oven doesn't lite
    1. The oven ignitor was replaced a few months ago. Ignitor lites up OK. Flame doesn't come out. Gas to unit is on. Gas stove top works fine. What could be the problem?

    2. Where can I find an online owner's manual for the Tappan 30-2242-00/01 range oven?

    I would be tempted to say it is the oven safety control.

    Your over is actually a rebranded in the name of Frigidare.

    See Burner manifold and gas control section parts then item 5 for the price, then to parts catalogue image number 5 for the location of the part.

    This is a expensive part and I cannot look at it or test it for you from here so I recommend that you might consider calling for On Site Service and let them do the repair.
