You do not have a summer switch on this furnace, the only switch that you might have is the switch on the thermostat if it is a heating and cooling thermostat, if it is you have a switch that says "Fan Auto- On" In this case you would turn the switch to "On".
If I might ask why are you wanting a summer switch?

Isn't that obvious? You can switch the season back to Summer. If my system had one, I'd switch it too! Tired of this cold weather...

Years ago there was a white push pull button located on the fan and limit control located on the interior wall of the furnace. Most modern units stopped using this type of control and have gone to the circuit board and timmers to activate the fan.

I have a 2001 Dodge Dakota. Owned for two years now and well maintained, but my blower control has problems. What is a summer switch? [ 2 Answers ]

My (rather old) Day&Night Gas heater has a summer switch. I've never seen one of these before, and I don't have the owner's manual as I just bought the house and that seems to be the one manual the previous owner didn't leave behind. I don't want to mess with it as the system seems to be working...

Hello, I have a Rheem combined gas furnace and electric A/C system, probably of early 1980s manufacture (the building was built in 1980, and this is probably original equipment). This is my first residence with central A/C, so forgive my ignorance. When I first moved in, neither the heater...

I have an older model Carrier furnace for central heat in the basement; the AC unit is newer and outside. I noticed that the Carrier unit has a "Summer Switch". Should it be set to off during the summer months?
