Blower turns off/on constantly, and not heating house well
Hello! :) My gas central heating unit has not been heating the house to the set temperature. This morning, I woke up to a 60 degree house, even though my thermostat is set to 70 degrees.

It will run for about 7 minutes, then the blower will shut off for about 2 minutes, then it will run again for about 7 minutes, shut off for 2, etc. etc.

I had assumed that the blower should keep running until the set temp is reached, not keep cutting off and on. What could be the problem? The blower is new, it was replaced just last winter, and the furnace was replaced the year before that. Thanks for any info anyone could give. :)

Brand/model #? Check the most obvious first: air filter.

Lets see, it's a Payne, model # CA1048. We just changed the filter last month, so it's good and clean. :)

Look for a clear plug with a red LED inside. If it blinks, refer to service label to translate fault code. Post back with findings.
