    Goodman blower runs constantly
I recently purchased a home with a Goodman furnace and had no idea if the furnace worked or not. The thermostat had the wires from the wall cut with no thermostat, so I replaced it. I'm not sure if the thermostat is wired properly... The wires coming from the wall contain 2 wires, red and white. Thermostat is R, G, W, Y. Problem is, the blower stays on even when the thermostat kicks off. The only way to shut it off is to click off the breaker. Any ideas.

Go to the furnace ,behind door ,trace the stat wires and see what colors go to what, rule of thumb is that red stat wire should be tied to red in furnace, and white to white in furnace, same thing on your stat (thermostat),the red goes to R and the white goes to W nothing else,, see if that helps

You should check your t-stac (termostat) if the switch to fan is at on position?
    It should be in auto.

With just two wires I assume your trying to heat only with this thermostat. If it's a mobile home system you will have a switch on the left side of the furnace behind the top door. It should be switched to auto and not on.

The original problem was that periodically the blower motor would stop running when cooling which caused the outdoor unit coil/condenser to freeze up. If I cut the unit off, let it melt, turn it back on, it would run fine for a period. That period could be 3 hours or 3 days. After taking a...
