Wiring a fan with two lights
I have a new fan that has an upper and lower light and the fan can be controlled by two different light switches. The wiring is a follows:

From the ceiling: One black, white, red and ground

From the fan: One black, white, blue (lower light), orange (upper light) and ground

Do I connect both the blue and orange wires to the red wire that comes out of the ceiling?

If you connect both blue and orange to the ceiling red, then both lights will be controlled by the one switch, assuming the ceiling red is from one switch.

And assuming the black is from one switch for the fan.

If you want both lights to be controlled separately, the another light switch and wire is needed.
