Finally broke up.
So my g/f of 3 months and I broke up on Monday. It was a pretty mutual thing. We were really good friends before and we want to make sure that we don't loose the friendship we had. We're going to coffee on Tuesday and talking... but I don't really know what to talk about. Any suggestions on good things to talk about to make sure we'll have a successful friendship in the future?

Hi, helpme1089!
Are you both mutually sure that you would like the friendship to continue as it was? If you were intimate in any number of ways with each other such as is usually found in intimate relationships between couples, it might be hard and awkward to continue as you used to be so soon after breaking up. My point is, that you might want to give things more distance and time before even seeing each other. If it were me, that's what I would be doing.
There was a woman with whom I was falling in love a couple of years ago. It took me quite a bit of time to get over her so that we could just be friends.
Just my initial thoughts about this now...
Thanks!

We both decided that we definitely want to remain friends and start now. We have a lot of mutual friends that we hang out with all of the time and it needs to not be awkward...

If you can be friends, and not act like acouple great, then you can talk about anything but getting back together.
Be aware that it may be to soon for friendship, and you should develop other things to do, to balance your life.

I have been with my boyfriend for years now.
