    Unpaid fine
I received A Notice of unpaid fine in the mail yesterday for my husband. The requested a payment within 15 days it was for a trespassing that he was never charged for in 1995 that would make it 13years ago and he would have been 17 young offender and did not have his licence at the time so believes that anyone could have used his name. My question is do we have to pay it? And if not how do we have it taken off his name because the have threatened to suspend his licence

You may not have to "pay" it, but you need to hire an attorney to fight it if not. You can not just do nothing,

Pull a copy of his criminal history, see if there is a charge for it. **** and are you sure he did not do it and is just not admitting it?

At 17 many kids drive without license. Also trespassing is not always tresspassing, in Georgia for example, tresspassing is also any theft under 500 dollars falls under their tresspassing law ( don't ask me why)

So you hire an attorney ask for a court hearing on the matter, get them to investigate the crime if the records still exist.
