Unpaid bills by and ex that are all in my name
I have and ex that had no credit so everything was put in my name such as internet, cable, credit card to buy a mattress, and deep freeze. When we broke up there was a verbal agreement made for him to pay the monthly bills especially the credit card until the other things could be turned off also at his expense. Now a year later nothing has been paid, it totals to almost $3,000, and I have copies of the bills but nothing in writing that he promises to pay. I was just wondering how you think this would hold up in small claims court in Indiana?

Why was nothing placed in writing? Why wasn't this all detailed as part of your divorce decree?

You go to Court. You both tell your story and present your proof. The Judge decides which of you is the most credible and that person wins the Judgment.
