    Needle & thread
Hello all, I was just wondering with the needle & thread method, does it work?? I've been trying for 6 months. My mom did the needle & thread on me today, I wonder if it is true. I do not know yet if I'm pregnant or not. But when she did it, that needle moved in a circle movement- which I heard means girl? But I'm not even sure if I'm pregnant yet... humm?:confused:

It's one of many old wives tales that are used to determine gender. You will see several variations of the needle and thread one. Fun, and it has a 50/50 chance of being corrrect, but I wouldn't bet the house on it... :)

Could someone explain this old wives' tale? I've actually never heard of it.

A needle on a thread, or sometimes it will be on a strand of the mother's hair, is held either over her belly or the palm of her hand. If it moves in one direction, baby will be a girl. Moves in a different direction, baby will be a boy. There are a few other variations to it as well... :)

My Honda crv feels like it will die once in a while when I'm driving down the highway. The rpm needle will drop suddenly and it decelerates briefly, then it's fine. This happened a few years ago and I took it to Honda and they replaced something, I think it was a recall on the ignition.
