    At start-up a pop-up ad appears, how can I delete it permanently?
    Every time I start my computer, a pop-up ad appears wanting me to register for a Registry Cleaner Pro program. Although I can delete it each time I start my computer, I'd like to keep it from appearing again. I've asked the Registry Cleaner Pro for help, but they say I'm not registered. I don't want to buy the program and am getting really annoyed by the ad. How can I delete this ad? My computer blocks other pop-up ads but this one is relentless.

    Try running MSCONFIG. Look in the Startup for something kicking off that ad.
