89 Honda accord lxi idle issue (pic)
    Hey guys,
I have a 89 lxi and I had a split coolant hose (not upper or lower hose)
Anyway I changed it and now My idle is higher then should be idles when warmed up at like 1200 rpm.. used to be at 700rpm.

I have read the stick in the Honda thread but I'm kind of dumb when it comes to all this computerized stuff.. (I am a small block Chevy guy)

Can you guys show or kind of explain where the adjustments is at.. in layman's terms please.. I have provided a pic to help me out w/ the explanation.. If you guys can Note on the pic (save pic as) and kind of explain where it might be.. I would appreciate it very much.. Thanks for your time!! I can provide more pic if needed

. Ensure the throttle cable has not popped loose from its bracket--it looks like it may have in the picture. This can affect rpm, by itself.

. Clean the Idle Air Control Valve with brake cleaner.

. Remove the air intake and clean the throttle plate, upper port and lower port.

. Replace the PCV Valve and air filter.

. If adjustment is still needed, turn the outside throttle cable linkage nut 1/4-turn CCW. If rpm is now okay, snug up the inside (locking) throttle cable linkage nut. Use two open-end 12mm wrenches, where you hold one and tighten the other. You may only need to follow this step, if you are in a hurry.

Based on your picture, you need to completely change the brake fluid.

On the intake manifold--look for a hose running to the plenum.
