    Adoption without attorneys
    How can I legally adopt my grandson without an attorney. I am on ssa. And I cannot afford to hire one.

    Go to your local Family court and ask them what forms you need to fill out.

    An adoption HAS to be approved by a judge. So you have to present a petition to the court.

    Some state will have more user friendly forms than others. Here in GA if you are under certain income levels you can get free legal aid.
