Arffmdbo7 - Have you already checked the heating element to see if it is good or bad , if it has a open circuit or is grounded?
Ok ,here is how to remove the heating coil and the duct that is around the element ,
#1 - unplug the dryer power cord , pull the dryer out away from the wall so you can get to the back of it .;; #2 remove the back panel from the dryer now you should be able to see the duct and the heating coil .#3- start by removeing the duct, to do this remove the screws that hold it in place, ( NOTE on some modles you have to raise the top panel in order to reach the top screws that hold the duct in place ::_ if you do take a strong putty knife or a good butter knife and push it under the top panel and raise it up , get it started and do like I do use a common screw driver to finish getting it up , ) #4 - once you have the screws holding the duct in place ,pull the duct out and now remove the heater element screw holding the element in the duct, then pull it all the way out, NOTE ( Don't FOR GET TO REMIOVE THE ELECTRICAL WIRES FROM THE HEATING COIL < While it is out -#5 - If you have a volt -ohm meter check the ( OVER HEAT PROTECTOR ,it is on the outside of the duct and mounted to it :: To use the meter ,set it to RX1 scale, now touch one of the probes from the meter to each one of the wire connectors, IF METER READS ZERO OHMS THE PROTECTOR IS GOOD _ IF HIGH READING IT IT FAULTY AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED
Ok, I hope I have helped you and to replace it just go in reverse to the way you took it out ( Don't FORGET TO RE HOOK UP any OF THE WIREING that you disconnected :: If you have any problems come back on to this post and let us know and we will try to help you out :: Good luck and STAY SAFE< THAT IS 220 VOLTS YOU ARE MESSING WITH AND IT IS NOT VERY FORGIVEING GOD BLESS :: F.B.E.
