Mobile home mortgage unable to pay
I have a mobile home in OH that am unable to sell. Tried over past 4 yrs. Offerred ) down-assumable loan (take over pymts.) can not sell, can not afford. Currently live in another city close to work. How can I get out from under mortgage with least amount of damage to me credit (which is not very good). Will I have to file bankruptcy, will my wages be garansheed? Do not know what to do to get out of mortgage.

Well have you approached the lender on a short sale, to allow you to sell it for less than is owed, you don't get a penny, but the mortgage would be paid. Have you looked into renting it to help make your payments ? If you just walk away, and it is foreclosed, you will still owe the balance for what the mortgage is and what it actually sales for. Yes they can come after you for that balance due. |
