What will I get for first time in court
I have been charged with assault with weapon, aggravated assault and mischief under 5000$ and I'm pleading guilty and I want to know if I'm getting time? Because its going to be my first time in court so does that mean its my first offence? I'm also enrolled in college will that help?

    Hello bay:

There's no way to tell what might happen. If you chopped somebody's leg off, you'll get more time than if you just slapped them.

Hopefully, you have a lawyer. He'd be the one to be answering these kind of questions for you.

You are pleading guilty so yes you will get time.. but since you are pleading guilty they may end up giving you a lesser charge... if you are in college you should know this... ever heard of a plea bargain?

Don't plead anything until you talk to an attorney. See your other post for the rest of my answer.

Yes, you need to talk to your attorney before you plead anything. You should have worked out a plea agreement so you know exactly what is going to happen before you plea anything
