    Traveling on probation
Currently I was asked to go to Connecticut for training to become a manager for my job. Well my probation officer said I have to go in front of the judge and ask her for a travel permit. I will be gone for 5 weeks. What are my chances of the judge letting me go? Do judges usually let people go to training for their jobs for such a long period?

I've had no exp. Whatsoever but, it sounds like you are turning your life around and that is a good thing. I strongly believe that the judge would let you go especially for reporting to your probation officer before going. Most people I know don't. I hope that he does and good luck on your job.

    Hello jen:

I'm sure your PO will let you go. I don't think the judge has anything to do with it.
