Stray Tom Cat defacating on my porch every morning!
Help! I have had a stray tom cat that has been defacating on my front porch every morning for the past four days and it's driving me crazy!
Does anyone know what you could do to stop this from happening or to keep him away. My front porch area is open so I can't keep him off it unless I sit on guard duty all night. I have "inside" female cats but they are all fixed. I can't seem to get rid of this stray!! Help! :(::confused::confused:

Can you borrow a dog?
Mouse traps, lay newspaper over them, so they can't grab him but should scare him

Call the local pound, if he's a stray they'll set up a cat trap and then probably take him to the local humane society or try to find his home, I hope.
Good luck.

Altenweg's answer is probably the better thing to do, or get a live trap yourself and set it up yourself
Put a can of tuna fish or cat food inside it, but bewear cause you may catch a racoon or something else
Once you catch him you can bring him to the pound, or if you know a local rancher they may take him (if you get him fixed)

The town I live in doesn't have a local pound, so I guess I will set a trap and see what happens. Thanks

Try to experiment with different scents, most cats have a certain scent that they just loathe, because it says 'danger' to them. Don't try to get too crazy with it, but also try to keep your female cats inside the house, further back. He might just be very attracted to their scent.
