What to pre-build into my porch for a Hot Tub?
I'm looking at building a house and at some point down the road put a hot tub on the porch. What should I make sure is prebuilt into my porch for a hot tub. What type of eletrical outlet do I need built in to have the correct/safe set up. Thanks for your advice!

I'm not sure of the electrical requirements (I made hubby take care of that!), but make sure you reinforce the deck to handle the weight of the hot tub. If you don't, the deck could sag or even possibly break once the hot tub is filled. Have you considered placing the hot tub on the ground next to the deck, making it so you step down into it? I don't know if this is an option for you, but it will prevent you from having the problems of the deck being strong enough. We have our hot tub on the deck, and I frequently wish we had placed it elsewhere so we would have more deck space.
