Inside the fan switch and reversing housing where light is to be hooked up, some wires were undone, thin purple from fan forward & reverse switch, med purple from motor, thin yellow and thin blue from motor, med white and blue is to light, all the rest are OK. Where do these go? Ceiling fan model CB-525DOW

You posted the same thing on my forums. All I can say, is you need to keep track of how the wiring is connected otherwise you may not be able to reconnect it. It's possible it is color coded-- all the purples together, all the blues (except light) together, etc.
