Odor - Bathroom and Laundry Room
    Howdy,
I know there has already been a question pretty similar to this one on the board but before I act I just want to ask to make sure those same suggestions would work for me. We just recently bought our house, the owners hadn't been living in the house for about a month before we moved in. When it was inspected they marked down. "Strong odor from laundry room" but when my husband went out he couldn't smell it and we brought the inspector out for the second time after some other repairs were made no problem with the odor so we just kind of dismissed it as he said that can sometimes happen after a house isn't used.
After a month of living here the smell is starting to come back. In the guest bathroom and in the laundry room. There isn't a method to it's madness. Sometimes it comes back after the shower is used or just on it's own. Same in the laundry room. I think it's more of a sewery smell but it's hard to tell because it also just smells kind of moldy at times. Any suggestions advice. Also, this is our first home so I'm not the handiest gal in the world, might need dumbed down instructions. I appreciate your help and advice. This site means a lot to a new home owner like myself!

I also experienced this problem before..
My mom used to put a coal in a plate in the room
    And the smell will disappear..
And I think it really works! You should give it a try!
